Our speaker will be Ann Cross.  After attending the PMI Global Conference in October 2019, Ann will share highlights from 3 of the presentations she attended, along with some helpful tools to address challenging situations.

  • Managing Difficult Conversations in the workplace - what can we do to plan for and implement effective behaviors to navigate a difficult workplace conversation.
  • How to Rescue a Project – Advance your Problem-Solving Skills – use proven processes with appropriate tools to analyze and resolve problems correctly.
  • Improving Organizational Awareness through Emotional Intelligence – how to build self- awareness to monitor your emotions and reactions to stakeholders, and lead conversations using both facts and feeling based questions to increase stakeholder engagement.


Ann has 25+ years of experience in the IT industry, most recently in the role of Senior Project Manager at Teracai Corporation.

As a Sr. Project Manager, I am responsible for providing account management and project management while working with an integrated team of Systems Engineers and Sales Account Managers. I am responsible for overseeing project design, work planning, resource management and allocation, issue/risk management, client satisfaction and forecast pipeline of an average of 35 - 40 simultaneous projects.

My style includes being a collaborative facilitator using a project management structured delivery approach to resolve highly complex enterprise-wide challenges within time, cost and deliverable expectations. I have a flexible leadership style with strong team building skills focused on achieving company initiatives.
