Join us for the PMI February Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, with renowned keynote speaker Joe Kelly. Joe will be presenting an intriguing topic:
- The Checklist Manifesto: Delving deeper into the stories presented in Atul Gawande’s book “The Checklist Manifesto” we will take a close examination of one of the most familiar Project Management tools, the humble checklist. If you have the opportunity to read a few chapters (or the whole book) of this New York Times best selling novel prior to our February Chapter meeting, you should. The intent of this presentation is to look at the use of checklists from multiple perspectives, introduce key aspects of the tool, take a step towards improving our use of this potentially powerful tool, and become aware of employee’s resistance to embrace its use in the workplace.

Joe Kelly
Joe is a fellow Syracuse chapter member and an active board member. He recently began teaching a project management class for LeMoyne College. He has multiple years of project management experience leading teams within New Product Development.Similar to yourself, He seek continuous learning opportunities, such as podcasts, news articles, books and chapter meetings.
