profession of project management here in See details on the Events Page. There are four different types of awards to be presented
at this celebration. For both the CNY
Project of the Year Award and the Project Manager Recognition Awards, you
will need to fill out an application.
The links below will take you directly to the submission forms. Please read the general guidelines in order
to understand how to fill out the form, when to submit, etc. Once the forms are completed, you can
either send them via email to awards@pmi-syracuse.org or mail them to PMI

The following are some useful documents to help in your submission.
PMI Syracuse’s most prestigious acknowledgement, the Central New York Project of the Year, is awarded to a project team demonstrating superior performance in the application of project management principles and techniques. All projects, regardless of size and industry, are encouraged to participate. If you are interested in submitting a project for this award, please fill out the CNY Project of the Year Submission Application using the Guidelines for Project of the Year. The winner of this award will receive the following:
CNY Outstanding Project Manager
Recognition Award PMI Syracuse created this award to allow companies to recognize their own project managers. A company can sponsor a project manager for recognition for a fee of $250 to cover the award expenses. If you would like to honor a project manager within your company please fill out the CNY Outstanding Project Manager Recognition Award Application using the Guidelines for PM Recognition. Each award winner will receive the following:
PMI PMI Syracuse created this award to honor a distinguished member of the project management profession who demonstrated outstanding devotion either to the profession of project management or to PMI Syracuse. Please feel free to nominate worthy candidates for this award by emailing awards@pmi-syracuse.org.
