  •          This course satisfies the 35 Contact Hours Requirement of formal project management education for PMP Exam eligibility.
  •          Students can expect Certified PMP instructors, who are volunteers of the PMI Syracuse Chapter, to review the provided PMBOK slides and facilitate discussion surrounding study materials and practice questions.
  •          Additional study outside of this course will be required to be adequately prepared to take the exam. It is encouraged that students consider forming study groups as they progress through their review of materials.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  •          It is recommended that students read the relevant PMBOK and/or RMC chapter prior to class to maximize learning.
  •          It is also recommended students become familiar with the Exam Simulator software as soon as possible and use the software in their studying as it is the closest representation of the computer-based exam they will have to pass for certification.

COURSE FEEDBACK:

  •          The PMI Syracuse Chapter PMP Review Course has been developed and improved over the years through the hard work of various volunteers. We strive for continuous improvement, much of which is dependent on student feedback.
  •          At the conclusion of each module, it is requested that students complete a brief survey and provide candid and constructive feedback on opportunities for improvement.
  •          It is also encouraged that students return as volunteer instructors after passing the exam to help reinforce the information you just learned and provide advice to future students.
  •          Additionally, the Syracuse Chapter is looking to build a library of study aids and resources. It is greatly appreciated if students consider providing any particularly useful tools to the Chapter so that we can continue to improve the training offering to future students.
