Presentation Topic: PMI’s PMP and PgMP:  Which is right for me?

PMI is the world’s leading not-for-profit association for the project management profession. Today, PMI offers credentials including the Project Management Professional (PMP) and the newly developed Program Management Professional (PgMP) for people who oversee programs, define projects and assign project managers.  Both credentials require objectively measuring experience, education and professional knowledge. Additionally the PgMP requires that candidates undergo a rigorous application process and three assessments.   But, what is real the difference between them and which is right for you?  This brief overview compares and contrasts the two certification programs to assist you in determining which path(s) is right for your personal goals.

Presentation topic: “Quiet Leadership...”   Get More Thinking From The People You Lead

Do you ever wonder why some days seem like most have entered the workplace and seemingly checked their brains at the door?  Imagine what would happen if the people we lead willingly (even joyfully!) thought through project dilemmas that led to solutions.  Such attitudes and actions would change our organizations.  Research tells us today of the desperate needs of the “Gen X” and “Y” employee.  In fact, they expect more from us.  Today, people need a different type of leader verses yesterday’s command and control culture.  Today’s leader needs to help them reach their full potential. Please join me as we look at a “Brain-based approach” to help the people we lead to think and focus on solutions and to solve project dilemmas while forming new insights toward action.  Walk away with a proven coaching technique that will create new thinking for those you lead. Learn how to work through a series of thinking questions with team members that will facilitate positive change by improving their own thought processes. Best of all…they will own and honor their own solutions.  It’s a  “Win-Win” for everyone!
